about my favourite hobby Ham Radio. Why this
page in English while my native tongue is
Flemish (Dutch)? Ham Radio is a hobby across
borders where we meet many people who speak
different languages. In order to be able to
communicate, English is the most common
language on the radio.
I am employed in the Telecom sector at a company
that provides Internet, Digital TV and both fixed and
mobile Telephony. As a Ham operator my main
interest is home brew, altough lately I have been
mostly active with programming all kinds of pieces
of software. On this page I would like to present
some of these projects, that are hopefully of any
interest to you the visitor.
As a member of our local radio club in Gent I
also take care of the 70cm repeater ON0GRC
and help a little bit with the ATV repeater
ON0TVO.
Furthermore I am a bit concerned about where
human kind is taking our beautifull planet Earth.
But before making any comments, start with
yourself. That is why I try to reduce energy
consumption in our house and use natural
resources such as solar power. Some info on
